Within the National Marine Park, there is also an abundance of different dive sites, ranging from sand bottoms to walls and sea mounds. For the more advanced diver, there are also sea wrecks to explore. From the Loreto Marina, there are over 35 scuba diving sites within a 45-minute boat ride of the launch.
Diving in Loreto is a year around adventure. The most common time to scuba dive is August to November when the waters are the warmest and generally crystal clear. Diving in the winter months usually requires a light wetsuit, which the local dive shops provide, but when the winds are down the clarity is amazing and the Jural are prolific.
There are a few very good companies that provide Scuba Diving Courses and certifications.
